On Sunday, at least three people were injured when a regional train carrying around 100 passengers derailed in southwest Germany, police announced.
The German media reported that several people had been killed.
“The accident occurred around 6:10 pm (1710 GMT) near the city of Riedlingen in the state of Badettemberg,” a police spokesman for AFP told.

“At least three people were injured,” added the spokesman, without explaining the severity of the injuries.
According to the German daily Bild, the passenger train travels from the German city of Sigmaringen to the city of Ulm when at least two train cars derailed in a wooded area.
Images of the accident scene showed yellow and gray train cars lying on their side, while firefighters and emergency services were trying to access passengers.
He was not immediately clear which had caused the accident.
