Manila, Philippines – Farm Fresh may seem to get his groove with three consecutive victories in the PVL tour on tour, but coach Alessandro Lodi is far from satisfied.
The Italian coach believes that his team underperformed to launch the leg of the city of Cebu despite the scan 27-25, 25-17, 25-18 of the Galeries tower without victory on Saturday at the USJ-R Coliseum
“I don’t care about the (victories sequence). I’m never talking about victories and defeats. We are only talking about the things we can control,” Lodi told the Fresh Rose farm to a 3-1 file, binding his last preliminary opponent, NXLED.
“It is a process. It takes a long time. We have to become much better than we do. We have to learn a lot of new things. People have to make major changes because the way they play is nowhere well to compete at a high level of the league,” he added.
Farm Fresh tries to capture the quarter -final branch final of the swimming pool against NXLED Sunday at 6.30 p.m.
Trisha Tubu, who overcome 14 points, continues to shine under the Lodi system with Jolina Dela Cruz, Rizza Cruz, Lorene Toring and the Recruue Alohi Robins-Hardy sector.
But just like his coach, Tubu prioritizes improvement after a slow projection against the galleries, which Farm Fresh won during the breaks of the match.
“In the first set, we have really felt the tremors. One thing we have to work on is to bring the same level of aggressiveness from the start,” Tubu said in Philippin.
“We get there. It’s always a process, but now we have fully adopted the coach system. We have confidence in what he wants for us, ”she continued. “Even our service, we have had a lot of mistakes, but we have never lost our aggressiveness. Our goal was to serve hard and reduce errors. We also focus on blocking and intelligent game.”
In the current pre-season, Lodi wants the Foxies to focus on the progress of their team, not on the results.
“It’s really a long -term process. It takes a while. Victories and losses come and go,” said the new Farm Fresh coach. “We know that we do not control the victories, we only control our side of the courtyard and what we do every day. The accent is put on the process and what we need to improve.”
