Poy Erram was excluded from the final of the PBA Philippine Cup after suffering a left left knee in the defeat of TNT match 4.
Coach Chot Reyes and Erram himself confirmed the status of the veterans center after Tropang 5G extended the series with a victory of 86-78 Wednesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Erram was injured in the second half of the defeat on Sunday, adding to his misfortunes after turning his right ankle earlier in the final and missed match 3 in the process.
“I suffered an MRI (earlier this morning), it was discovered that I had a meniscal tear on my left leg,” said Erram. “For the record, I went out for the series and perhaps missing about three to four months.”
The loss was a hard blow for TNT, with Erram the last to be the victim of the injury bug in this conference.
Jayson Castro and Rey Nambatac were not on the list of playoffs, Simon Enciso underwent an orbital fracture during the series while Calvin oftana, RR Pogoy, Kelly Williams and Jordan take place.
The spraining of Erram’s ankle arrived in the second half of the match 2. He had to skip the match 3 after wearing a protective boot.
He played it in match 4 while TNT was trying to level the series, only to hurt his left knee in the second half.
Despite his absence, Williams and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser came for TNT to refuse the first crack in San Miguel to win the crown.
