Veteran Sports analyst Jason Whitlock rang in the viral remarks of the Star of the Sparks, Kelsey Plum, after the star match on Saturday. Plum made a joke according to which no member of the Caitlin Clark team was present when the players of the WNBA planned to wear the declaration shirts “US What You Dose US”.

On Monday, Whitlock defended Plum, saying that the joke of the double champion of the WNBA simply did not land.

“I’m not a fan of Kelsey Plum. But I think people do too much with this comment. She tried to make a joke, and like most female actors, the joke did not land. It was not a shot to Caitlin Clark. My 2 cents.”

In an post-match interview on Saturday, Plum was questioned about the players carrying the declaration shirts, which were to be a reference to the current negotiations of the ABC.

“Not in Tattletal: Zero members of the Clark team was very present for this.”

The New York Liberty Sabrina Ionescu star, who was with Plum on the podium, did not agree with Plum.

“You really have to mention,” said Ionescu, causing laughter.

Plum said she was joking.

“I try to make the situation light, okay?” She said.

The WNBA 2025 All-Stars, led by Captains Clark and Napheesa Collier, all brought the statement before the star match.

WNBA Brass met the Face Player Syndicate on Thursday. According to several reports, the meeting did not go well because they failed to reach a new CBA.

Jason Whitlock Slame The Collier team for pretending to take credit for “Pay Us” shirts

Jason Whitlock criticized Kelsey Plum and Napheesa Collar team after a recent report surfaced on Ramona Shelburne from X. ESPN tweeted that WNBA players discussed “more than a week”.

While only a few members of the Caitlin Clark team were present at breakfast, league sources told Shelburne that Collier, Breanna Stewart and Nneka Ogwumike had gone to the Clark team’s locker room before the match to ensure that everyone was “on board”. Stewart, Ogwumike and Plum are all part of Team Necklier.

Whitlock a tweet of shelburne tweeted and wrote:

“Team Collier fights for a full credit on one of the most stupid ideas in the history of marketing. As I said earlier in the day, it was not a kind of idea early in the morning. This error was planned in advance.”

WNBA players are targeting a larger share of income and an increase in wages and benefits. The union of players who withdraw from the current ABC came in the heels of increased popularity and growth of the League. In addition, the media rights agreement in 11 years and $ 2.2 billion in the League is starting next season, and players also hope to get a share.
