It was another excellent contribution with the Jadeja bat, which walked at number six after its team lost Rishabh Pant and Kl Rahul in rapid succession, on each side of the lunch. The versatile has shown good application with the bat in the series so far and has ensured that India has been able to rely on the foundations laid from the top and the average order.
After Ravira Jadeja Falls, India is buckled for 387
The dismissal of Ravira Jadeja for 72 meant that the burden was now on Washington Sundar to try to make India a first round. The SouthPaw, which looked solid with the bat at Edgbaston, provided good support to Jadeja after Nitish Kumar Reddy fell for 30.
However, the other lower order strikers did not give him the desired support, and the tourists were overthrown for 387 in 119.2 Overs. The highlight of the day was KL Rahul when he arrived at his hundred, his second at Lord’s. The 33 -year -old man made 100 out of 177 balls with 13 ovens to join Dilip Vengsarkar as the only other Indian striker to make more than a hundred in the emblematic place.
Rishabh Pant made 74 before he was exhausted at lunch. His position of 141 points with Rahul formed the foundation of the sleeves of India, as well as other useful lower order stands.
