Manila, Philippines – Bella Belen remained focused on her goal of leading the national university to a title rehearsal after having led the MVP race in the women’s volleyball tournament of the UAAP season 87.
Belen is at the time of joining an elite club of triple winner of the MVP Alyssa Valdez d’Ateneo de Seasons 76 to 78 in the last decade and the champion at three peat from the University of Far Eastern Monica Aleta from 2000 to 2002 after having led the first round with 159,600 statistical points.

Belen does not think of any individual prices because his only objective is to win another title in his last dance in the UAAP.
“I think the prices are only bonus. What I need to focus on is to contribute to the team, and it is really a team effort. I could not do it without the help of my teammates,” said Belen in Philippin.
The fourth year outside of Spiker led the nude elimination ball to the room, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18, to remain undefeated in eight games on Sunday evening at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Belen finished with 23 points out of 17 eliminations, four blocks and two aces and had 17 excellent receptions to launch their second round campaign and beat the duo of Shevana Laput and Angel Canino.
The first MVP Recruit of UAAP women’s volleyball is also determined to pass your game to the upper level, seeing many young stars getting into the college scene.

The NU coach, Sherwin Menesses, who has already managed several MVP PVL Alyssa Valdez, Tots Carlos, Bernadeth Pons, Jema Galanza and Michele Gumabao, is in admiration in front of Belen’s leadership, which makes his teammates best, while standing out as a great individual player.
“The first thing is to know how she manages the team, on and off the field. As a captain, she manages the team well, especially young players. It is really impressive of how she manages to be a leader and how she gives the example. I really admire her leadership,” said Menesses en Filipino.
To be a recruit MVP during their first title in season 84, Belen became a mature leader for Lady Bulldogs.
