Meghan Markle faces a backlash after the fans accused her of simulating a homemade breakfast for her children. On Monday, the Duchess of Sussex published videos on Instagram stories showing by preparing green waffles for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to celebrate Saint-Patrick.
In the videos, Markle used a manufacturer of Waring Pro Cuisinart waffles, which has grooves that create sections for each waffle. However, when the waffles were tackled, the fans noticed that they did not have the typical ridges associated with the aircraft, which led some to wonder if she had really prepared breakfast from zero. The waffles appeared flat, resembling versions purchased in stores rather than homemade versions.
Fans went to social networks to express their suspicions. “She posted a video of herself using a waffle with a divider, but the” house “waffle that she presented exactly looked like a user bought in store,” wrote a user on X (formerly Twitter). Others have hypothesized that Markle had used frozen waffles, with a person even sharing a photo of Kellogg green apple dragon waffles to illustrate their point.
The controversy intensified when Markle shared another image showing waffles that she would have made for herself and Prince Harry. The dish included stacked waffles garnished with strawberries and whipped cream, accompanied by what seemed to be a matcha latte.
Despite the criticism, Markle explained that she was trying the waffle fraud because the Sussex family “loves a theme”. However, fans are not convinced, which accused the duchess of having organized all the experience of breakfast for social media. The representative of Markle has not yet responded to requests for comments.
