This close to a perfect first round, the National University continues to focus on improvement.
“I think that Nu’s performance will continue to improve in the second round and last Sunday match of the first round,” said Lady Bulldogs, Sherwin Menesses on Wednesday.
This last assignment in the first round in the women’s volleyball tournament in season 87 of the UAAP is against the University of Santo Tomas, the last team that was naked during the race for last season.
The Lady Bulldogs will win a record of 6-0 (Win-Loss) before this confrontation, adding the dangerous Falcons Adamson Lady to their list of victims after a victory of 25-21, 25-23, 25-18 Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“It was a good match for us because we knew that Adamson would not go down without fighting,” said Alinsug. “So we had to continue to push until the end of each set.”
Fresh approach
Tigresses should give the Lady Bulldogs a similar fight, although the one with a cooler approach to the game.
“We will stay in the system, take advantage of the game,” said Detdet Pepito, the Captain of the UST. “We are delighted to play them because we learn a lot of them.”
Meanwhile, the room was maintained near the summit with its fourth victory in six games after returning its Rival Ateneo, 25-15, 25-14, 20-25, 25-19.
It was a third consecutive victory for Lady Spikers after a rare start to the season.

Solomon led naked with a better 22 -point match, delivering 15 points, four blocks and three ASs. Bella Belen, double MVP, added nine points and 12 excavations, while Alinsug finished with 12 points and four excellent receptions.
Adamson, now at 2-4 and tied with the University of the Philippines in fifth place, will try to bounce back Sunday at 1 p.m. when he faces combat chestnuts.
