“They are not only one or two players wearing the team – all contribute to us. This is the most important factor in the reason we have won, “said the third year spiker.
Petallo attributed their confidence to Setter Tin Ubaldo, who orchestrated the balanced attack of Lady Tamaraws with 12 excellent sets while four marked two figures with Faida Bakanke in mind with 16 points and Jean Asis and Chenie Tagaod adding 14 and respectively 14 and 10 points.

“The pressure is still there in the game, so the tin setting really helps,” she said. “But I must first focus on myself, then continue to contribute to the team.”

While coach Tina Salak urges them to abandon the oppressed mentality and adopt higher expectations with their stacked list, Petallo promises to continue ripening in their quest to exceed the last four terminals of last year, by falling short from the final.
“Of course, it’s all about developing the characters. No matter how far you go, you should never stop growing. I just want to become more mature in the game, ”said Petallo.
