Monday, February 10, 2025 saw the first overview of the next Dragon Ball Super manga One-Shot officially shared a video of the official Youtube channel of the franchise. While the only blow itself and its release date on Thursday, February 20, 2025 have already been announced at Jump Festa 2025, the latter overview is the first offered.
While the Dragon Ball Super The manga returns with a single blow, it is not clear from the writing of this article, if the only blow will mark the return of the manga to regular serialization. However, the latest video “weekly Dragon Ball News” which shares the sketch of one of the pages of the chapter teasing more information to come this Thursday, February 13.
Dragon Ball Super Manga returns with a single blow, but has not yet announced back to regular serialization
Presumably, the upcoming information of Thursday, February 13, reveal additional sketches of pages for the next Dragon Ball Super Manga One-Shot. This is something that the series did regularly before taking its in progress hiatus after the death of Akira Toriyama, hence the reason why it seems likely to be the main objective. However, if the manga should soon return to regular serialization, it could also be announced on Thursday.
This would also make sense, because the series has been on break for almost a year, announced for the first time in April 2024 after the aforementioned death of Toriyama. Just before the death of Toriyama, the manga seemed to lay the foundations for a new arc, which suggests that there is at least one direction for the near future in history as it is. Illustrator and probably the Toyotaro author probably spent the majority of the hiatus by trying to plan a long -term vision for the future of the series.
This gives more credibility to the idea that the Dragon Ball Super The return of the manga to regular serialization is close. Likewise, even if this return is not announced just before or alongside the exit of the head, the fans can take the only blow as a sign that the highly anticipated return arrives soon. However, this is still purely speculative from the writing of this article, without rumors or official news indicating a return soon.
The manga series started at the origin in June 2015 and was written by Toriyama before his death in March 2024. The manga was adapted to a television anime which took place from July 2015 to March 2018. And manga are considered canonically unified despite different differences and events. The story takes place several years after the defeat of Majin Buu, but before the last episodes of the Dragon Ball Z Anime.
Toriyama passed on March 1, 2024 to 68 years of an acute subdural hematoma. Toriyama was best known as the creator of Dragon Ballon franchise, as well as the Dr Flump mangaka and character designer of the two Chrono trigger video game and Dragon quest Video games franchise.
