Tim cone thinks that Barangay Ginebra will be well equipped to prepare for the semi-finals of the PBA commissioner’s cup against Northport while he and some of the key members of the team who are part of Gilas Pilipinas compete in the qualifications of FIBA Asia Cup.
“These guys (who will play for Gilas) will play significant games, and I think it will help once they return to play these (semi-final) matches,” said the simultaneous national coach after Ginebra eliminated the former Meralco rival, 94-87, in the defender of the match 3 of the quarter-finals of the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

“It will just be the energy levels we have to worry about. I mean, do they have the energy to come back and start a long series with Northport and be at the top of their game? “Cone added.
