At least 110 Palestinians killed by Israel in Gaza from the ceasefire: Monitor

Gaza / Cairo: The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has documented at least 110 Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement last month, Al Jazeera reports.

This means at least six victims per day, including the two new ones who were killed directly by the Israeli army, as well as those who died of their previous injuries after Israel refused them the right to travel abroad for treatment.

More than 900 others have been injured from the ceasefire, with an average of 47 injuries per day, said the organization based in Geneva.

Palestinian pregnant killed by Israeli shots in the West Bank

A 23 -year -old Palestinian was killed by Israeli security forces in the Nur Shams refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, said the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Reuters said.

Sundos Jamal Mohammed Shalabi, who was eight months pregnant, was struck by Israeli shots, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the fetus did not survive and that Shalabi’s husband was seriously hurt.

The details of Shalabi’s death were not immediately clear. The Israeli army had no immediate comments.

The Palestinian state news agency cited eye witnesses saying that Shalabi and her husband were slaughtered by Israeli forces while they were trying to leave their homes.

The Israeli army said it was extending an operation to combat terrorism in the north of the West Bank in Nur Shams, a refugee camp near the Palestinian city Tulkarm.

The Israeli army withdrew from the Netzarim corridor in Gaza: Hamas

The Israeli army has completed its withdrawal from the Netzarim corridor on a key route in Gaza as part of an ongoing ceasefire agreement, Hamas official at AFP told.

“Israeli forces have dismantled their military positions and positions and completely removed their tanks from the Netzarim corridor on the road to Salaheddin, allowing vehicles to pass freely in both directions,” said the head of the Ministry of the Interior.

An AFP journalist on the scene said that no Israeli forces was present.
