Cyrus Renault plays God on General Hospital
For a while, Cyrus Reno was wandering around general hospital, Patients killed by an overdose of digitalis. His first victim was Sam McCall, who was recovering from a routine organ donation.
She was doing well until she had a heart attack and died. Come to find out she died of digitalis OD. But doctors couldn’t figure out why she was given the drug in the first place.
After all, it wasn’t necessary. Next up was PCPD Officer Dex Heller. landed in General Hospital After being stabbed while on duty in… Rice Plaza. Subsequently, a third patient died off-screen.
and JH Doctors thought it was due to digitalis. Cyrus is then seen injecting Michael Corinthos who is fighting for his life after a tragic fire. He told himself that he would end Michael’s suffering.
So, Cyrus seems to think he is doing God’s work by killing these sick people. However, Michael seems to be the only person he believes is helping him. Sam wasn’t suffering at all.
It appears that Cyrus’s motive for killing her was to keep her away from his niece, Lulu Spencer. Then there’s Deeks, who stabs Cyrus himself to get him down General Hospital. Most likely, it was for revenge.
Dex almost killed Cyrus once while working for Sonny Corinthos. Additionally, he realizes that Cyrus was in the hospital the night Sam died. So, the villain likely killed two birds with one stone by getting rid of Deeks.
Except for Michael, he clearly appears to be overdosing on these patients for personal gain. However, killing him would be beneficial because it would hurt Sonny and Cyrus hates him. However, Cyrus’ time as Port Charles’ newest serial killer may be almost over.
Damning evidence against Cyrus on GH
Currently, on general hospital, There is evidence that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Cooper) stabbed Dex Heller (Evan Hoover). WSB agent Jack Brennan (Charles Messeur) reviews footage of Dex’s attack.
Cyrus is clearly shown as the attacker. Now, he’s pointing Joslyn Jax (Eden McCoy) in his direction. Recently, Cyrus was brought to PCPD for questioning. Unfortunately, Gus’ angry outburst drove Cyrus away.
However, there is still footage proving Cyrus is guilty. Jack doesn’t seem to want to be directly involved. But maybe he can anonymously send the footage to Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Then at least Cyrus will be dropped for attempted murder of a police officer. It is only a matter of time before his identity as the digitalis culprit is revealed General Hospital.
Head nurses Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) already suspect him. They are trying to find concrete evidence before taking it to the police. So, this could be the beginning of the end for Cyrus.
General Hospital Predictions: Big Bad Will Finally Screw Life in Prison?
The more patients Cyrus kills and the more people join the investigation, the closer the villain comes to falling. In fact, he always seems to find his way out of prison.
But, this time, he has enough heinous crimes under his belt to be thrown in prison for the rest of his life. There is no doubt that once he is in custody, there will be enough charges to imprison him for at least one life sentence.
