A violent incident occurred in Sheffield, England, where a group of Hindu extremists attacked a well-known Pakistani restaurant.

The attackers, apparently under the influence of alcohol, physically attacked the restaurant staff, causing chaos and damage inside the establishment.

According to British media, the extremists vandalized the restaurant by breaking windows, overturning chairs and tables and damaging various objects.

They also reportedly accused the restaurant of mixing beef and mutton in their dishes, saying beef, sacred to Hindus, should not be served.

The attackers expressed their dissatisfaction, saying that they had already expressed their objections to the use of beef in food.

Following the incident, local police intervened and arrested the attackers for their role in the unrest and property damage.

The incident highlights growing concerns over rising extremism and tensions stemming from Hindutva ideology, which has reportedly led to similar acts of violence in other parts of the world.
