MANILA, Philippines—Another strong performance from Kai Sotto was lost in the B.League on Sunday.
Sotto’s latest double-double wasn’t enough to give the victory to the Koshigaya Alphas, who were beaten 96-80 at home against the Kyoto Hannaryz.

Kyoto swept a two-game set against Koshigaya (6-18), whom it also beat 92-84 on Saturday, despite an 18-point, 10-rebound effort from the rising Filipino center.

Sotto was coming off a 20-point night on Saturday.
Dwight Ramos and Levanga Hokkaido (9-15) also failed to rebound against the San-En Neophoenix, who came away with an 84-79 victory at Toyohashi City Gymnasium.

Ramos struggled to find his touch, scoring just two points in 13 minutes. The Gilas Pilipinas stalwart had 21 points in a 102-78 blowout loss to San-En on Saturday.
Ray Parks Jr.’s efforts were also in vain as Osaka Evessa succumbed to the Chiba Jets, 89-81, at Ookini Arena Maishima.
Parks Jr. finished with 10 points, three rebounds and two assists as Osaka slipped to 13-11.

Just like his fellow Filipino imports, Matthew Wright also tasted defeat when his Kawasaki Brave Thunders (4-20) fell to the Mikawa Seahorses, 97-65, at Kariyashi Taiikukan.
Wright had nine points and four rebounds in 28 minutes.
AJ Edu and Roosevelt Adams, meanwhile, found themselves on the winning side.
Edu’s Nagasaki Velca beat the Ibaraki Robots, 97-85, at Adastria Mito Arena while Adams’ Yamagata Wyverns cruised past the Fukui Blowinds, 83-81. At the Yamagata Prefectural Sports Park.
Edu had four points and two rebounds to help Velca reach 12-12.
Adams scored 10 for Yamagata (11-15).
