Bayern Munich will look to bounce back from their first Bundesliga defeat of the season when they host RB Leipzig on Friday evening.
The Bavarian giants suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Mainz in their last league outing, allowing their title rivals to close the gap at the top of the table.
Bayern are still top with 33 points from 14 games, but RB Leipzig are now just six points behind in fourth place after beating Eintracht Frankfurt last time out.
Team News
Bayern will be without several key defenders for the visit of Leipzig, with Sacha Boey, Hiroki Ito and Josip Stanisic all ruled out through injury. Midfielder Konrad Laimer is also unavailable.
In their absence, Dayot Upamecano and Kim Min-jae are expected to start as a central defensive pair, with Raphael Guerreiro or Alphonso Davies potentially replacing the right-back.
Manuel Neuer remains out until the new year, so Daniel Peretz is expected to continue in goal for Bayern. Michael Olise, Jamal Musiala and Leroy Sane could feature in attack behind Thomas Muller.
For Leipzig, midfielders Amadou Haidara, Eljif Elmas and Forzan Assan Ouedraogo are all unavailable. Christoph Baumgartner, Xaver Schlager and Kevin Kampl should start in the middle of the park.
Castello Lukeba has been out for a long time, so Nicolas Seiwald, Willi Orban and Lutsharel Geertruida could form the bottom three. Forwards Benjamin Sesko and Lois Openda should be up front.
