Crystal Palace Vs Arsenal Predicted Line-ups and Team News: Premier League

 Magic Post

Crystal Palace host Arsenal in a London derby at Selhurst Park on Saturday, as the Gunners look to maintain their Premier League title challenge.

Arsenal won 3-2 against Palace in the EFL Cup quarter-finals on Wednesday, with Gabriel Jesus scoring a hatrick to cancel out Jean-Philippe Mateta’s opener and set up a semi-final clash. However, the visitors escaped a late goal from Eddie Nketiah to secure victory.

Mikel Arteta’s side have drawn two of their last three league matches, allowing Liverpool to open up a six-point lead at the top of the table. A victory against Oliver Glasner’s Palace would be crucial to keep the pressure on the Reds.

Palace came into the match on the back of an impressive 3-1 win over Brighton last weekend, which moved them up to 15th in the table, four points clear of the relegation zone. They will be hoping to repeat their 3-0 win over Arsenal in the 2021-22 season.

Team News

Crystal Palace are without suspended Daniel Munoz, while Caleb Kporha and Nathaniel Clyne attempt to replace him in the starting XI.

Declan Rice is expected to return for Arsenal after being rested in midweek, but Ben White, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori remain sidelined.

Planned lineups

Crystal Palace (3-4-2-1):

Henderson;

Chalobah, Lacroix, Guéhi;

Clyne, Hughes, Doucouré, Mitchell;

Sarr, Èze;

Mathematics

Arsenal (4-3-3):

Raya;

Wood, Saliba, Gabriel, Lewis-Skelly;

Odegaard, Partey, Riz;

Saka, Havertz, Martinelli

We expect a close encounter, with Arsenal edging ahead to maintain their title fight.
