The FiberXers rolled up their sleeves defensively in the third quarter, limiting Ginebra to just 13 points in the third period to turn the tide.
Ginebra relied on Justin Brownlee’s 39 points and 10 rebounds, but the resident import couldn’t hold off Converge’s fightback. Maverick Ahanmisi and RJ Abarrientos added 15 and 11 points respectively for the Gin Kings, who wasted their strong start after a dominant second quarter.
