Last month, a palace spokesperson clarified her absence, saying: “Following doctors’ advice to ensure a full recovery from a seasonal lung infection and to protect others from any potential risks, Her Majesty will not attend at this weekend’s Remembrance events. ยป
The statement further explains that the queen continues to experience lingering post-viral symptoms, leading doctors to recommend she prioritize rest after a demanding schedule. It is with great regret that Camilla has also canceled her participation in the Royal Variety Performance.
While Camilla recovers under medical supervision, King Charles continues to carry out his royal duties, including his recent appearances at key events. The Queen’s health remains a priority for the royal family as they focus on a full recovery in the coming weeks.
