A former model who attended Sean “Diddy” Combs’ parties is relieved to have been denied bail.
Precious Muir said she would have been “extremely concerned” if he had been granted bail.
This comes after the music mogul was denied bail a third time as he awaits trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He was put behind bars after being arrested on federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Muir spoke to The US mirrorand said: “I cried tears of joy, all the emotions I felt in the past came back, finally our voices are heard. So grateful for this result, it’s like a feeling of relief. It would have made me extremely uncomfortable knowing he wasn’t behind bars.
She continued: “Still take his name for a moment and just describe his alleged crimes over the decades and what he is currently accused of while he was in prison, no other perpetrator could get bail. He doesn’t deserve special treatment.
Diddy’s request for bail was denied after prosecutors argued he tampered with witnesses and tried to influence the jury by waging social media campaigns.
They argued: “The bail package presented by the defendant falls far short of ensuring the safety of the community, including in the face of the defendant’s continued efforts to obstruct this case, nor does it protect adequately against the risk of leakage. For all these reasons, the defendant’s new request for bail must be rejected.
They claimed that Sean “Diddy” Combs “directed family members and third parties to contact several potential victims and witnesses.”
