Youth and Troubled Comings and Goings: The Shocking Abby Newman
Recently, on The young and the restless Abby Newman actress Melissa Ordway shared an update with her fans while answering questions on Instagram. One of the questions was about her new gorgeous short haircut.
Melissa revealed that she needed to change because she was no longer under contract grate. So, she wanted a fresh new look for the tests. The news then took on a life of its own on social media.
Fans were worried about Abby’s character leaving The young and the restless. In fact, it was surprising to see that she had just married the love of her life, Devon Hamilton, on the show.
Fortunately, Melissa confirmed that she is still working on the series with no plans to leave. She loves playing Abby and loves her fans. So hopefully the fact that she’s not under contract won’t affect her screen time too much.
